When Will I See Results And How Long Will It Last?

Results from JUVÉDERM® fillers are visible almost immediately after treatment, with full effects noticeable as swelling subsides (usually within 1-2 weeks). Depending on the filler used, results can last between 6 months to 2 years for most patients.

What to Expect During Treatment

We prioritize your comfort throughout the process. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Numbing Options: We can use topical numbing cream, injectable lidocaine, or both for added comfort.

  • Pain Distraction: A vibrating device we call "the golden buzzer" is used to distract your nerves and minimize discomfort.

  • Cooling Relief: For lip treatments, we provide ice packs to soothe the area after injections.

 

Most treatments take just 20-35 minutes, and you’ll be able to resume normal activities.  Bruising can occur.  

General Aftercare Tips

Avoid applying makeup for 12 hours after treatment and minimize strenuous exercise, exposure to extensive sun or heat, and alcoholic beverages within the first 24 hours following treatment, as these may cause temporary redness, swelling, and/or itching at the injection site.  refrain from touching or massaging treated areas unless instructed by their provider. Swelling, redness, and bruising are normal and typically resolve within a few days.
